What a coincidence. Tonight, one of the best untouched photos I've ever taken, and it's dirty. And earlier today, I got a press release touting a book about "yet another dimension to food to be explored." Written by Italian-born Chef Tiberio Simone (a new find for me, and adorable!) and shot by freelance photographer Matt Freedman, the "provocative new coffee table book" is called La Figa: Visions of Food and Form (www.LaFigaProject.com). It features full-color, artistically rendered portraits of the naked human body decorated with fresh ingredients. And you can bet your boots that I'm asking for a review copy.
Incorporate food in your love life, Chef Simone says, and you’ll discover the sublime. Probably doesn't hurt that Freedman, the photog, produced the first iPhone app about the Burning Man festival.
But who needs credentials like that when you can shoot from the hip like this?!
Recipe next week. Enjoy!

Darling this is wrong on so many levels.
Those do not look like happy clams.
Clams should always look happy....
(unless they are lonely - and these'uns dont look like they are hurtin' for company...)
